About Solutions Counseling & EAP

Solutions Counseling & EAP has been in operation since 1995. Originally created as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) only, Solutions expanded several years ago to also offer private counseling. In 2019, Solutions moved to its new office, centrally located in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Solutions is owned and operated by Keri Forbess-McCorquodale MS, CEAP, LPC-S, LMFT, and offers confidential, professional, and affordable help with personal problems for individuals, couple and families. Professional Staff

Keri Forbess-McCorquodale, MS, CEAP, LPC-S, LMFT

Keri is the president of Solutions Counseling & Employee Assistance Program. She is from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from the University of Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a National Certified Counselor, Certified Employee Assistance Professional and a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional under the Department of Transportation guidelines. She specializes in the areas of couples, adolescents and their families, and substance abuse, as well as business and industry.

Quinton Manuel, MA, LPC

Quinton Manuel, MA, PLPC, is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in counseling from McNeese State University. He previously worked at the Educational and Treatment Council (ETC), holding various positions in multiple programs involving functional family therapy, community treatment, transitional living, mental health and juvenile drug court.

Constance Weldon, MS, PLPC

Constance Weldon, MS, PLPC, is originally from Opelousas, Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Constance interned at Beyond Words in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she gained experience in the behavioral health field working with adults and children with mental health issues such as bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, autism, ADHD, and depression. She developed skills in counseling, assessments and treatment planning.

Julia Bulhof, MA, PLPC

Julia Bulhof, MA, PLPC, is originally from Austin, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling from McNeese State University. Julia interned at the Kay Dore Counseling Clinic (KDCC) in Lake Charles, Louisiana. There, she gained experience in counseling individuals from all areas of life. She also worked in suicide prevention and education through the Suicide Education and Awareness program at KDCC, as well as assisting the Peer Initiative Leaders of Tomorrow (PILOT) program at Sam Houston High School.
